Book Week; Yr7&8 Body Words Vital Excursion; Senior Basketball; Mobile Phone Policy Success
Book Week dominates this week, with classes looking at the shortlisted books for the CBCA awards and dressing up as favourite book characters for a celebratory parade.

Our Year 7/8 students were lucky enough to sneak in a last minute excursion on Friday to the current Body Words Vital exhibition in Melbourne. They saw plasticised bodies and organs and were happily horrified at what they learned. Hopefully it puts them all off smoking after seeing the blackened lungs against the healthy pink ones. Each body takes over 1000 hours of preparation. It’s on until November if you’re keen to visit.
The lunchtime basketball competition continues between senior students – lots of puffing faces and smiles.
Our new mobile phone policy is going well, students have been very accepting of not having their phones out during school times, plenty of face to face chats happening instead.
