Swimming Sports; Ukeleles; Recyclying Drop Off Point

Our students headed around the coast to Lorne last Friday to compete in the Coastal Cup and returned victorious once again.

Next the senior students head over the hill  to Colac to take on the other high schools in our district before regional swimming is held.

We take possession of a new class set of ukuleles this week, with the Year 3&4 students having first strum…it was quite the, er,  ‘auditory treat’ sitting next door to the music room (ahem). They’ll be crooning in tune before long, no doubt.

We continue to be a drop off point for recycling of plastic writing implements (send in a bundle with a student or we can organise something for your organisation if you’d like) and also for plastic dental items (toothbrushes, electric toothbrush heads, toothpaste tubes, dental floss cannisters) the collection bin for these is clearly marked under the rainbow sculpture at the main entrance to the school. Every little bit counts towards a cleaner planet.
