CEO recruitment process continues

Mayor Joe McCracken has confirmed that the Colac Otway Shire Council is continuing with the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer.
Cr McCracken said the recruitment of a Chief Executive Officer is the most important decision Council would make, and Councillors were committed to ensuring the process was thorough and considered.
“We currently have a competent Acting Chief Executive Officer in place, who is ensuring that Council operations continue until Council makes an appointment.
“Councillors are in discussion about progressing the appointment in the new year and are committed to ensuring we get the right person to lead the organisation in to the future,” he said.
