Colac Otway Shire invites tenders for a range of trade services to Council

Colac Otway Shire Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified companies and tradespeople to provide a range of services to Council.
Council’s Coordinator for Procurement and Contracts Ben McLaughlin said 12 trades-based tenders across various industries are currently being advertised and out for tender by Council and he encouraged local trades people and businesses to apply.
“We want to encourage local trades to put their hand up for Council tenders. If there are any business people who are unsure of the tender submission process, I’d encourage them to contact Council as we’d be happy to assist.
“Council officers can provide an overview of the request for tender documents and OH&S requirements tenderers need to meet.
“We recently held a tradie breakfast that was attended by over 50 tradespeople with the aim of simplifying the tender application process, we hope our local tradies found this useful and has encouraged a lot of local business people to apply for these tenders with Council,” Mr McLaughlin said.
