Tuesday 8th November

Apollo Bay’s Vicki Hannah was 3rd in “A” grade (scratch-18) in the Colac Open Championship. Apollo Bay also won the perpetual plate with 232 gross. The team consisted of Vicki Hannah, Stacey Thomas and Margaret Smith. Vicki was also 2nd in the SWDLGA Merit award. Congratulations girls!

Wednesday 9th November

3rd Round of the 4-weeker in Grade 1 was won by Colin Coleman 78/63 on a count-back from Geoff Vesey 80/63, who was runner-up. Nearest the pin on 1st/10th was G. Sargant. In Grade 2, the winner was David Hand 82/62. Runner-up on a count-back from John Verey was Ray Matthews 88/66. Ray also had nearest the pin on 1st/10th hole.

Thursday 10th November

Was a 2 person Ambrose competition won by Jean Hansen and Stacey Thomas with 81-29-52. Runner’s up were Sue McKenzie and Helen Pini with 91-36-55. The best putting team were Dawn Thomas and Jill Fowler with 25 putts

Sunday 13th November

Men’s 18 holes and Medal of Medallists. A Grade Winner was Craig McKenzie 74/66 and runner-up Ken Johnsson had 83/67. Nearest the pin for A grade was Rocky Dimieri. B Grade winner was Ray Matthews 88/66 with runner-up Manuel Quintana on 95/73. Monthly Medal for A Grade was Craig McKenzie and in B Grade Ray Matthews. They were also both Medal of Medallists.
