Monday 14th November

Women’s 9-hole stroke competition in Grade 1 was won by Adele Rowarth with 50-12 ½ -37 1/2 . Dawn Thomas was runner-up 50-11 ½- 38 1/2 . In Grade 2, the ever-improving Faith Morrissy won, with 55-22 ½ - 32 ½, followed by Jeanette Dodds on 34-16-38. The overall putting prize went to Norma Begely on a count-back, with 17 putts.

Wednesday 16th November

4th Round of the 4-weeker: In A Grade Don O’Meara had 63 nett, runner-up was Ian Richardson with 69 nett. B Grade winner was Ray Matthews with 60 nett, and with 63 nett Richard Tantau was runner-up. Nearest the pin winners were Colin Coleman, Ray Matthews and Bill Buckley. David Hand was winner over the four weeks with a nett 192. Next week the winners of each round will vie for the 4-weeker championship.

Thursday 17th November

Captain’s versus President’s team of women – match play. The Presidents team were the winners this year.

Friday 18th November

Thank you to sponsors day 9 holes 4 person-Ambrose followed by Happy Hour and a BBQ.

Sunday 20th November.

Men’s Irish 4-ball stableford teams of four. Winners were Dick McGrath (28) Rod Beecroft (19), Don Wagstaff (8) and Dave Roberts (17) with a total of 112 points. On 105 points the runners-up were: Ian Robinson (18), Doug Honey (18), John Verey (26) and Bob Bedson (7). Dave Roberts (from Bendigo) won a nearest the pin in A grade on 1st/10th while Rod Beecroft was the most accurate for B Grade on 9th/18th.
