Wed. 14 Feb - Men’s 18 Hole 4 Week Stableford - Round 3. Winner A Grade: was Ian Richardson with 37 points and with 36 points, Richard Stone was runner-up. Geoff Lewtas had nearest the pin on 1st/10th. In B Grade Ray Matthews won with 34 points on a count-back from Alan Rowarth, who was runner-up. Ray also was the most accurate on 1st/10th for B. Grade.
Thu. 15 Feb - Women’s Summer Cup - Round 2 produced the following winners: 0-27 Jill Fowler 87-20-67 her second win in this competition, runner-up Janice McKenzie 94-25-69. In the 28-45 division Adele Rowarth won with 96-28-68 and Faith Morrissy was the runner-up for the second time, with 107-38-69. The putting was won in A grade by Janice McKenzie, with 32 putts and in B Grade Sami Oguzhan won with 26 putts.
Fri. 16 Feb - The Chicken Run winner was Colin Coleman with 23 points.
Sun. 18 Feb - Men's Summer Cup - Round 3. A Grade was won by Don Wagstaff 64 on a count-back from runner-up Brian McKenzie. In B Grade, David Ivens had 54 and runner-up John Nankervis scored 56 nett. Nearest the pins were: 1st/10th A Grade- Don Wagstaff and B Grade Ray Matthews. On 9th/18th hole Richard Stone was the only contender.
Mon. 19 Feb - Women’s 9 Hole Stableford - Held in warm but blustery weather, Dawn Thomas won in A Grade with 18 points followed by Margaret Smith, runner-up 15 points. In B Grade, Maureen Vesey won with 17 points, and with 16 points, Joycie Henderson was runner-up.

GOLF LESSONS
The Women’s Committee has decided to have 4 “learner days” of golf beginning Monday 12th February (after our usual 9 hole competition) from 4.30-5.30pm.
So any women or junior players interested in getting back to playing golf, or if you wish to learn to play, our women members will give you instruction, and will play 3 holes of golf with you.
A small trophy will be awarded. Clubs are available, and there is no charge.
