Interschool Basketball, Cross Country, Progress on the New School and Furniture, Yr9 Melbourne Trip

We hosted some year 7/8 students from Colac High School for an interschool basketball competition this week.  These events are a great opportunity for building new friendships and enjoying being active.

Speaking of being active, students in year 3 – 9 will be taking part in a school run cross country event this Friday, weather permitting.  Cheer them on if they huff and puff past you on the foreshore!

Team meetings for staff were centred on choosing appropriate furniture for the new school.  This is a mammoth (and expensive!) task which will take many months of discussions.

The new school continues to take shape with most windows in place and a great deal of the brickwork.  We are hopeful that the plastering for the longer building will begin soon, then things will really start to look grand!

Year 9 students are getting ready for their week long trip to Melbourne – more about this after the event.
