Yr11 Work Experience; Planet Rythym; Blue Brothers; Stephan Graham; Holidays; Student Free Day
Year 11 students head to Melbourne this week for their work experience adventure. Taking public transport is generally the most adventurous part, with accompanying teachers fielding SOS phone calls. They also enjoy exploring Melbourne for dinner and of course trying out potential industries for future employment!
Planet Rhythm finally make it to Apollo Bay for our Prep–6 students. He'll introduced them to various forms of percussion instruments and they'll bongo themselves into lunchtime!
Rehearsals are ramping up for the Blues Brothers performance early in Term 3 – keep an eye out for ticket sales, seats will be limited.
Stephan Graham comes to school this week for two days as part of our continued focus on teaching writing effectively. Every staff member will be able to observe a lesson with Stephan leading the way. Most informative!
The first day of school is Monday, 13th of July, but a reminder that the first Friday back (17th) is a student free day.
Happy and safe holidays!
