Yr11 'Fit 2 Drive' Program; Yr9 Bright Camp; Thank You Second Sails; Yr10-12 Immunisations; Farewell Mary Fitzgerald
Our Year 11 students join with Lorne College to participate in a ‘Fit 2 Drive’ program, focussing on safe choices for their P plating future.
Year 9 students don their most fashionable on piste attire (why did no one want my 90s fluoro parka?) and head up to Bright for the annual ski camp. Après ski is also important as they continue to build the relationships with our partner school, being billeted with families for the week.
Thank you to Apollo Bay’s Second Sails Op Shop for their very generous donations of items for our play pod.
Visiting immunisation nurses get to play darts on the arms of our Year 10-12 students.
And finally, and with a sad heart, we announce we will be farewelling instrumental music teacher Mary Fitzgerald at the end of this term. She has been part of the fabric of Apollo Bay College probably longer than she would like to remember and has taught countless children how to ply their fingers along the ebony and ivory – she will be greatly missed. We are therefore now on the recruitment drive to replace her to allow our piano and voice students to continue their studies. If you are interested please contact the school.
For more information please contact the College on (03) 5237 6483.
