Coastal Cup Victory; Craig Dent; Cricket; District Swimming; Yr12 Biology Biolab Trip

Apollo Bay returned victorious with the Coastal Cup in our swimming competition against Lorne last week.

We had a visiting writer, Craig Dent, working with some of our middle years English students writing song lyrics and other things.

Our senior girls cricket team took on Trinity College in a 20/20 game this week.

A small contingent of our senior kids also represented our  school in the district swimming competition in Colac.

And our Year 12 Biology students went on an excursion to Biolab to do some fancy gene splicing practicals as part of their Year 12 studies. They are possibly hoping to use their new skills to genetically modify the Thursday donuts so they never run out…
