30th May 2022
Senior student Savi Ainsworth has earned an exciting opportunity to work with esteemed local photographer David Simmonds through a scholarship he generously donated to the school. Part of Savi’s experience involves an amazing weekend workshop.
We have a visit this week from the Butterfly Foundation, experts in body image and disordered eating, to provide both students and their guardians with key information and ways to cope with those issues identified as major wellbeing concerns, particularly after two years of lockdowns due the pandemic.
Melbourne is gearing up for our Year 10 students next week. Part of the four-day program involves visits to Monash University and Melbourne University, trips to the Melbourne Museum and Immigration Museum, a workshop on homelessness with the Big Issue and experiencing the state’s capital through an Amazing Race and its dining culture.
It's a busy week of footy and netball for the school. Year Seven and Eight students trek up to Colac on Wednesday, while our Grade Five and Six pupils will head to Central Reserve.
