New Term, New Faces & Welcome Back; Parent/Student Interviews; Yr6 Big Smoke Camp; Winter Sports

School returned this week and we welcomed some new and familiar faces to give everyone a spring in their step to start Term Three. Jess McKenry and Christie Thompson are with us on a regular basis after they were both away with their new bubs, while Nattie Murray is back in a boost for our food program which has also been bolstered by the addition of Rina Hamdemir.   

As we get back into the swing of things, we’d like to remind parents and guardians about student interviews this Tuesday afternoon at the school.

Next week, we are also sending our Grade Six pupils to the big smoke for one of their big excursions of the year. The group will spend two nights away, learning about big city living and being exposed to what Melbourne has to offer.

Plenty of sporting opportunities await our students, even during the winter months. Our senior school kids will hit the basketball court tomorrow, while the Grade Three and Fours head to Colac next week for footy. The school is also helping facilitate junior indoor soccer for primary pupils in the leisure centre after school, which will start from Monday.
